Zamalek reject portsmouth bid
AmrZaky.com can reveal that Zamalek SC have rejected Portsmouth bid to sign Amr Zaky before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.
Sulaiman Al Fahim the new owner of Portsmouth FC, has expressed his desire to complete the signing of the Egypt star Amr Zaky. Al Fahim sent an official offer to Zamalek SC with many options subject to Zamalek's board choice. Zamalek saw that the offer is not good enough to let the player go and delayed any offers for Zaky to January or until the end of the season.
Portsmouth asked to sign the player on a season-long loan deal for a fee of £500.000 or to sign the player permanently for a fee of £3million. There was another option to sign the player on a permanenr basis for £2million but Zamalek have the right to get 50% if the player transfered from Portsmouth to another club.
Zamalek wanted to keep the player to help the team achieve the league title which is the first priority for Zamalek fans and the club board this season.
